Homewood Suites by Hilton Providence Downtown

This hotel is perfect for visiting RISD and Brown University. As someone who came to visit my daughter attending college here, it was truly an excellent choice. The staff were all cheerful and friendly, and even on non-cleaning days, the housekeeping staff greeted me with a bright smile and kindly asked if I needed anything. The room size is spacious enough for two people to stay comfortably, and the hotel is exceptionally clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again whenever I visit Providence.

I thought the staff was incredibly helpful and personable! The fitness center had great options to work out and the breakfast was hot and fresh the entirety of the offering window.

I had a large room, big enough for me to do my morning exercises--important for me. Having a kitchenette to store food and eat, was a great feature. There was plenty of room to lay out and put away my things, the bathroom was well laid out and large. The staff was lovely. The location was perfect. I will stay here again for my regular family visits.

The hotel is great in every sense and the only thing that needs improvement is breakfast which can be better than what it is. For example hot breakfast options are very limited and for a vegetarian person there is hardly anything to eat except for toasts. But property is excellent and location is great as well.

The location was great. The view of the river from our room was very enjoyable every morning. We were able to walk to the university we were visiting. Also most of the restaurants were within walking distance.
